Don't get hacked by phish emails or phishing websites.

We have seen over the past few months a high number of attempted purchases from us that were from hacked PayPal accounts and stolen credit cards. I believe prevention is the best solution for stuff like this. So I wanted to share with you a tool we use here in our offices and one I use personally that keeps us from making stupid mistakes with phishing sites.

The tool is called RoboForm. The program is free for up to 10 passwords. I personally have over 500 passwords so I have the paid version. The paid version is only $30 and is well worth it.

We use it not only to keep track of all of our passwords. But it allows us to also use very complex passwords that would be hell to type in every time.

The best feature though is that it will check the site you are at to see if it is the real site. It will not offer you any passwords for the site if it knows you are at the wrong place. I myself am really on top of security. This application however has pointed out to me a few times that I was not at the real site.

I suggest trying it out. It's free is you use it for 10 or less passwords.

RoboForm site.
